Below are the current projects we are working on.

Developing Sustainable Community Payback-supported Austerity Food Retail in Greater Manchester: a pilot project with Stockport Homes. Is the new Nornir project for 2023

Our Action Research and Development project will enable Stockport Homes’ austerity retailer "Your Local Pantry" https://www.yourlocalpantry.co.uk/ to retail non-surplus food to its members to supplement the dwindling supplies of surplus and donated food available to them.

Community Payback Project 2022-23

Community Payback (CP) is a court sentence requiring offenders to undertake up to 300 hours unpaid community work.

Planning For Real

Planning For Real aims to address the issue about how all sections of European society can engage effectively in policy making. Many EU citizens have disengaged from formal politics: voter turnout is falling, membership of political parties is declining, and there is a widespread sense of a loss of trust in government and politicians.

Enhancing Compentances Through The Video-CV Aid (E.V.A.)

Nornir has a new European Funded Project with the City of Rome. Called ENHANCING COMPETENCES THROUGH THE VIDEO-CV AID (ACRONYM: E.V.A.) the work will help to develop a video CV training tool for those people who are currently most excluded from the labour market or who are struggling to fine work due to the financial crisis.
